IT Training for Managers

IT training is an integral part of any MBA or Management course. It helps a manager to make full use of technology to perform managerial tasks. Any and every manager should have adequate knowledge of using computers and specific software(s). In order to be competent in today’s fast moving technological environment, IT training is a must.

But, the questions are:
  • Do we get adequate knowledge from institutes?
  • Is IT Training good enough to enhance skills of a manager?
  • Does IT Training differs from an IT manager and Manufacturing Manager?
  • Do you think Entrepreneurs should have different level of computer knowledge?
From any MBA institute’s point of view, they might be very satisfied with the course contents they teach to their students. In addition, students are also happy to learn few new things about computers. But once they move into the industry, they get to know that there are lots more things that they need to learn. And most of the times, institutes fail to understand that industrial requirement.

IT training course differs for each type of manager. You should have different skills in computer if you are looking for a career in IT and different if you’re going in manufacturing industry. In addition, if you’re trying your luck to be an Entrepreneur, then you should have something extra in your bag of knowledge. MBA institutes who give stress on “Planning and Entrepreneurship” should understand the need of filling that gap. It’s not just about learning basics of MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel or at the most MS-Project. It is much more beyond this.

Here at 4tuneTech, the training department helps students and executives to identify the need of intensity related to IT Training according to their job preference. We train them and sharpen their computer skills so that they can have technological advantage over other competitors.

Not only just individuals, we also help organizations to understand the power of Information Technology. We will discuss about this in our Organization Development section.
